About the program

Throughout the course you will work alongside lecturers who’ll offer practical industry insights while you develop enhanced skills in 2D, 3D, animation, environment art, character art and an understanding of user experience in games. Working in teams, you’ll develop electronic games across multi-platforms, including online, mobile and console in a similar environment to a real-world studio.

As well as giving you practical skills, knowledge and design capability, the Bachelor of Game Design and Development from Torrens University Australia also encourages you to take a holistic approach to enhance your abilities in soft skills, such as communication, commercial acumen, and an understanding of business realities.

Career opportunities

As well as giving you practical skills, knowledge and design capability, this course encourages you to enhance soft skills such as communication, commercial approaches and an understanding of business realities. Everything you create here can go towards a high-quality portfolio of games-related assets to impress future employers.
